‘[Jane Weinstock]’s characters are smart and funny, the twists are unexpected and, for once, a romantic triangle is presented realistically with the choice a woman must face being anything but easy.’
Kirk Honeycutt, Hollywood Reporter

A hit at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival (where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize), EASY charts the romantic progress of Jamie Harris, a sharp-witted and sexy young woman and self-styled ‘jerk magnet’.  For Jamie, sex is an easily attainable commodity, but love and commitment are not.  Through a hilarious 90-day ‘celibacy programme’, Jamie determines to cure herself of her addiction to highly unsuitable men.  But then Mick comes into her life.  He’s a roguishly charming Irish TV presenter, and although she refuses to sleep with him, there’s definitely a spark between them.  Could he be ‘the one’? Or when it comes to men, is Jamie doomed to failure because she’s simply too ‘easy’?

As well as being smart, sexy and fun, much of EASY’s charm lies in its spot-on performances.  MARGUERITE MOREAU (Life as We Know It, Queen of the Damned) has received much praise for her star performance as Jamie.  She’s ably supported by the Tony Award-winning BRÍAN F. O’BYRNE (Million Dollar Baby) as Mick. EASY’s cast also includes NAVEEN ANDREWS (The Buddha of Suburbia, Bride & Prejudice), CAROLINE GOODALL (Schindler’s List, Hook), EMILY DESCHANEL (Cold Mountain) and D.B. WOODSIDE (Murder One).

Odyssey Video will release the DVD of EASY onto the UK market on 10th October 2005.
RRP: £15.99
