Security guard Larry Daley (Stiller) has left behind his old
job at the museum of natural history to head his own company yet he
yearns for the excitement of the good old days with president Teddy
Roosevelt (Williams), toy cowboy Jed (Wilson) and the other exhibit
ants that come to life. Returning to his old haunt Larry is distraught to learn that all of his favourite exhibits have been packed up in crates and shipped off to the archives of the Smithsonian institute in Washington D.C. Having arrived at there new home, Jed and co inadvertently wake Egyptian ruler Kahmunrah and the evil pharaoh plots to take over the world with the help of Ivan the Terrible, Al Capone and Napoleon. Night at the Museum was one of the family hits of 2006 and this sequel is no exception a funny family comedy kids will love, Along with the original cast there are brand new exhibits coming to life like an energetic Amy Adams as Amelia Earhart and Evil Kahmunrah played by a very funny (Hank Azaria) Funnier than the original film it still manages to keep in the slapstick humour and with impressive special affects you will not find a better family film to keep the kids entertained.
